Thanks for bringing all of this stuff onto I2P. Bridges like these add a massive amount of content to the network for relatively little effort.

Reply to Which browser(s) are you using and why? by Wahaha
GNU/Linux desktop
often use: Pale Moon, Firefox ESR, and Tor Browser
sometime use: SeaMonkey, EWW (Emacs Web Wowser)
I don't use Chromium. Because, it send a lot of fingerprint to connecting server. (Fingerprint check)
Tor Browser is easy to use for privacy.
Pale Moon and SeaMonkey is forked from Firefox. But, they are lightweighter than Firefox. I use uMatrix addon for privacy and paformance.
EWW is very lightweight. But, many website are designed for Chrome and Firefox. So, EWW can not show those website.
Andoid mobile
often use: Iceraven, and Fennec F-Droid 68.12
sometimes use: Tor Browser, and Bromite
Iceraven is:
- about:config support
- The ability to attempt to install a much longer list of add-ons than Mozilla's Fenix version of Firefox accepts. Currently the browser queries this AMO collection Most of them will not work, because they depend on code that Mozilla is still working on writing in android-components, but you may attempt to install them. If you don't see an add-on you want, you can request it.
I have been using Firefox 68 too. Because, latest Firefox is very heavy.
Bromite setting is anti-fingerprinting.

I tried Brave, but not being able to put tabs on the bottom or using vertical tabs instead was a deal breaker.

I use Brave for the adblocker. Their new search engine seems to work alright, too. Before Brave, I used Firefox, but they're now ardent supporters of corporate censorship - I wouldn't trust them to protect my privacy.

I vary between Firefox with privacy hardening, Brave browser and Tor Browser.
I've been curious about GNU Icecat though, Palemoon seems really popular as well.

Reply to I am interested in free, anonymous, high-stakes high-risk betmaking. Can anyone enlighten me or have an honest discussion about that? by scrappycoco
Currently I work on a betting plattform, this will be integrated into my market /f/Archetyp within the next 2 weeks, where selected users can setup bets.
We do not allow anyone to setup bets, so we can quality control it.

I've seen cabins like that from about 400 years ago and they were in better condition. Since the 1920s they got turned into a museum and were thus preserved, though. Living back then must have been tough. They didn't even have a stove.

So I use some browsers with javascript (JS) disabled. I use these when I search for something or to open random links e.g articles.
Here's the list:
-
Elza-browser This project is pretty neat. By default the browser is in private mode. Therefore, does not retain any browsing information. But lacks of some features tho.
-
Netsurf Very lightweight browser. Netsurf does not handle JS stuff very well. Therefore, work great when JS is disabled.
-
Palemoon Well Palemoon is a well known browser based of Firefox so not much to say about it.
However, im a Emacs user. Emacs is my window manager with EXWM Therefore, I use 80% of the time the Emacs built-in browser eww. Before It was w3m. These are text-based browsers.
When I need to log into some well-known websites e.g Reddit, Bank etc. I use the Brave-browser, Min-browser or Firefox . These browsers obviously run with JS enabled. I never log into Google stuff like YouTube and whatnot. But if I'd ,I'd be using something like the ungoogled-chromium just for Google stuff.
Now, I think you get the point. Use different browsers for specific stuff, hence the Chromium only for Google stuff. Use a browser with JS disabled when you don't know the website you're about to visit or if you do not need to log in.
Also, I don't use the browsers bookmarks. I use a .txt
file to save my bookmarks.
Other browsers that are worth noting:

Reply to Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care doctors switch to Odysee after Vimeo censorship by Hitler_Was_Right
It's believable, because Vimeo always leaned lefty.
But were they paid members? Did the membership lapse, making some unavailable? Do the missing videos say they were removed for any particular reason?
I don't see any posts on covid19criticalcare.com from the 10th, and the 11th ones don't look related. Do you have a link to their post or to the posts with missing videos?
