It's pretty simple. No straight guy wants to look at gay porn featuring men. And since the only difference between gay and straight men is the sexuality part, the only reason to draw attention to this difference is sexual.

So there's no surprise in the rejection received. If you don't reduce yourself to your sexuality, neither will anyone else. You may get called a faggot, but you also may get called a motherfucker. Both are curse words not to be taken literally.

The questions you've asked are the same questions I've wondered myself.

They have a reddit community: https://old.reddit.com/r/GOSTCoin/ Two posts, both 3 years ago.

Hopefully someone will come along and give us some details, but I wouldn't be dumping my 401K into GOSTcoin anytime soon. :)

I fucking LOVE Vagrant Holiday. I binge his videos at least a couple times a year.

Was recently pumped when I was getting YouTube notifications of new videos of his but it was simply him re-uploading old videos in higher quality.

As a dude who loves sleeping in a mesh bivy or under a tarp in the woods, I have mad respect for him doing it in cities. Though I'm not sure I could resist the appeal of some local restaurant food if traveling in other countries.

EDIT: I realize this video isn't anything like what I described above, but if you only know him from his CHAZ/CHOP/Portland or train hopping stuff, watch some of his other videos. Well worth it.

It's nice to see the ACLU doing something sane again like suing companies for invading privacy. An example of the madness they're taking a break from (from Wikipedia):

On June 21, 2018, a leaked memo showed that the ACLU has explicitly endorsed the view that free speech can harm marginalized groups by undermining their civil rights. "Speech that denigrates such groups can inflict serious harms and is intended to and often will impede progress toward equality," the ACLU declared in guidelines governing case selection and "Conflicts Between Competing Values or Priorities."

Ricochet is an interesting project too. It also doesn't have centralized servers. It routes messages through the tor network.

https://ricochet.im/

The developers aren't giving guarantees about it though. From the website:

Ricochet is an experiment. Security and anonymity are difficult topics, and you >should carefully evaluate your risks and exposure with any software.

We’re working on auditing, reviewing, and always improving Ricochet (and we’d >love more help). There will be problems. We hope to do better than most, but >please, don’t risk your safety any more than necessary.
