Not yet, but I've got an idea. Hopefully will have something this week.

My current problem with i2p is that I've never been able to really get it up and running. It seems to need a lot of configuration, which I can deal with, but I'm not sure if it's actually worth the pain of setting it up. Much like these others, there's not a lot of content out there (understandable), and I don't know that I really want to take that effort right now if the pay off isn't worth it.

I2P is great. Cause it's not relaying on clearnet instead is like old internet without need to JS :)

Totally agree with you.
Of course the situation right now is totally OK, but it may be useful to evaluate measures in case the number of new users skyrockets. Probably Rambler has all the statistics.
Seams I still can't remember how to symlink a user :(

I agree with the first point. I don't live on Reddit like a lot of people and unless you happen to get somewhere just as a conversation is starting, you have no chance of being heard. That and it doesn't matter what stance you take on what subject, it seems like your inbox will always be flooded by a tonne of armchair experts informing you why you are wrong, usually in a less than civil manner.
As to your second point, do we know the number of users joining? I'm wondering if there's just an initial burst and then regrettably it loses steam?

Yeah wo/man, you've done an amazing job. Not only is it a very well put together site, the fact that you can access this from so many different platforms that I didn't even know existed a week ago is also super cool. By now I think I've interacted with this site from every direction that you offer except i2p... have never had good luck with that one in general.

I also like that you can edit your username. Just did it. Never seen this feature before.

By a different point of view, I like the scarcity of people around. Makes it easier to engage in a direct conversation rather than the chaos of reddit.
I would even go as far as to propose a (monthly?) cap for new users, or joining by invitation only. That may keep the quality of posts high while decreasing scam / advertisement / etc.
In my opinion, that does not contrast with the freedom of speech that constiuetes the foundations of Ramble.

Also works as:
- An I2P eepsite: ramble.i2p
- A LokiNet SNApp: ramble.loki
- A Yggdrasil site: ramble.ygg or http://[200:718d:c499:3fce:c5e:65c6:73d6:f46d]/ (which is how I'm accessing it currently)
Glad you're digging it so far. It's still very new, just over a week old now.

I'll add it to the list of ideas. If implemented, it'd be optional of course, but it's not a bad idea and good for those who wish to use a different username on different sites (Which is something I encourage).

Words because it creates a clearly recognizable identity.

Generated random pronounceable word(s) or generated like you would a random password?
Ex: CarTreeBaby or 4bGWjaE1qehZlbSc

Ive just read that post and they really don't like the idea of free speech, and for some reason they seem to think your in the wrong for allowing a platform of free speech.
I understand why you aren't keen on the software and why you don't want to contribute to Postmill.

Does that mean your not keen on the software running Ramble?
I like the simplicity of it, but the truth is if any additional features are to be added to this site it'll likely be in the form of a different platform as I don't want to contribute to a project (Postmill) that does not support free speech.
There is very poor / little documentation for the software and I was banned from the only forum I know that discusses it because I defended free speech. The main coder was concerned about our Terms of Service on this website and created several scenarios in which the terms could lead to a rise in right wing extremism. I just think she was off her meds.
When I explained it was a technology focused site with no such issue, she wanted me to touch base on her previous comment.
I told her that I'd welcome a user made antifa forum just as much as I'd allow a user made proudboy forum as both deserve a safe space to practice free speech. I was told the answer to any question via email will be "no" and the the admin banned me. Discussion thread here: https://raddle.me/f/Postmill/123713/new-postmill-instance-ramble-pw For context, "emma" is the main coder behind the software that powers this site.
I did do a fork of the software and thought about having some paid development done it it further, but I don't really want to support a product or contribute to a project that doesn't support basic human values like free speech.
