On the bright side, maybe if Telegram is removed people will install f-droid and start using open source encrypted messaging apps that are more secure than Telegram. But every time a community has to move, it loses users. So the whack-a-mole approach these "anti-hate" groups are doing is pretty effective, at least in the short term

Edit: I just remembered, f-droid is only available on Android. I don't have an iPhone but I hear that Cydia is similar. Not all of the software on Cydia is open source though.
