Hi Linux users,

I'm looking for a bluetooth mouse I intend to use with my Linux laptop running Manjaro.

At the moment I'm using a cheap Jelly Comb model and so far my experience has been awful.

Once the mouse goes to sleep, it doesn't wake up and refuse to reconnect.

I'm aware of some sort of bluetooth issues with Kernel 5.9, but as long as I was able to troubleshoot they are not related to that particular behavior. Besides, I'm running linux-ck, which supposedly includes some sort of mitigation of the regression.

So, what your advice for a moderately cheap (~ 40 USD) bluetooth mouse that just works as intended?

Bonus point for rechargeable battery.

in general bluetooth isn't reliable. if you want stuff to be reliable use a wire.

Wireless is nice, but I would recommend a mouse with a USB receiver over Bluetooth If your laptop is USB-c only, check out this video: https://youtu.be/V-vFtiDYiIw.

Yeah, fact is only ports I have are a pair of USB-C, one of which is used for power supply.
