Congratulations on the site! You did a pretty good job. I've been wanting to make such a site for a long time but never found the time to. Happy to be here within the first 24 hours of this site and I hope I can see it grow!

Glad someone did. I was about to myself. I'm a big music nerd so I'll definitely use it.

Oh, cool. And about CP, I'll be happy to know that I don't have a forum like that on this page, that's a whole another level of illegality. Thanks for answering

Definitely, just googling keywords with reddit on google returns so many results related to pirating, but it's pretty much just in recent months I feel like they've been cracking down a lot more on content like it. r/piracy still has a lot of great content though, and I think if you're interested their mega thread is a great place to get a sense of how to pirate safely.

You're good to go. We do not and will not host any illegal content on [RAMBLE] but you can link to and talk about it, with the exception of linking to CP, because I just don't want the site associated with it. (Call me old fashioned, I guess) But yeah, piracy/torrents links are fine. You can link to dark net markets and such.
Just try to keep things organized and in the appropriate places is all that I ask. Create your own forum if you must, the feature is there to be used.

There's a lot of ways to start doing this. I started out with Python, and I was able to pick up on Flask and Django pretty quickly. Both are fantastic libraries to create websites with, but I think learning Node.js and express is also another great combo for making websites. (This applies to Clearnet sites, not 100% sure about Tor based websites)

Yeah, I've been found in situations where it'll be easier to say or ask what i want, but the fact that you can't, make it harder than it should be.

This is definitely interesting to consider. I think it depends on the country the website is hosted in and whether or not they care about DMCA requests. Or at least that's how I believe it works.

Holy hell, I haven't seen or heard of Oink and What.cd in a long time. I remember when an old room mate invited me to those.
Man, I sure do miss Napster, Kazaa, Limewire, Morpheus, etc. I used to have a pretty large music collection at one point. Though now I enjoy listening to some of my favorites on vinyl. We need a music forum, stat.

Totally, I started out using Kazaa Lite and Morpheus. We had a nice amount of bandwidth for the Era at home, something like 8mbps. Then I started torrenting a bit later on suprnova.org. Now most people's experience on the internet is seeing posts from people they've known their entire life. It's narrowing, most of the culture i've learned about was from interacting with Europeans on IRC from Oink.me.uk and What.cd.

Hello! Glad to see a lot of I2P folk here. Already one member said they had never heard about it, and were going to look into it. Hoping this website encourages people to look into and support these various networks.

It's anywhere you look on the internet, of course. :)
