In an effort to encourage the use of some additional forums and to diversify some of the content here, I've added a few new forums as 'defaults'. This mean that they will be shown on the front page to people who are not logged in.

They are:

  • /f/WebGuides - I just made this, a place to share and post guides for doing things on the internet.

  • /f/DarkMemes - It gets just as much if not more use than /f/Memes . Do we really need two meme forums? I don't know. But I've gotten a laugh out of some of the content in there and it fits the theme of free speech.

  • /f/DarkNetMarkets - May be a tad controversial but after communicating with the mod he seems to be capable of modding it well. I'm pretty liberation with things so even though that's not really my lifestyle I'd rather people have access to information that helps them live their life more safely.

  • /f/Videos - Because it's just a general forum for (Safe for work) videos that others may find interesting or funny.

  • /f/linguistics - Because it's an interesting subject that I know nothing about and seems well put together, even though the content is very limited right now.

  • /f/oddsides - "Odd Sides of the Internet", I like this idea. Should be used to post interesting, obscure, random websites of unknown use or origin.

  • /f/gaming - People like video games.

Feel free to check them out, subscribe if you want to see them, hide them if you don't want to see them.

EDIT: Also added:

/f/datahoarder

EDIT: Just added /f/drugs as well. Remember, this is not and never will be a market place. For the love of god. Share news and updates about laws, clinical trials, harm reduction, user experience reports, etc. It's just a safe place for people to discuss things they do.

Some great additions to the defaults as many of these communities are fun to look at and read, and has a broad spectrum of interests for people who register to the community.
