This site has great privacy/freedom potential. If traffic scales up, it would really help to have a format option in the old.reddit.com style. That gets much more content in view, reduces scrolling, and helps when scanning a large thread or high-traffic sub.

It's great to hear that you too prefer "old reddit" layout. Maybe it is quicker and easier to start with the newer reddit style (?), but a change later or a toggle switch could really boost the utility for some. I ran into a group on one of the many reddit clones that preferred the new style, but it seems obvious that some of the larger subs with long discussion threads at reddit should have the old format.

I need to put more into the dev site before pushing in major updates to this instance. There are a lot of little features that people want that would make the site better it's just a matter of figuring it out myself or trying to find trustworthy people who are more capable and able to assist.
A more "old reddit" look with RES features like post / image preview from the index of forums (though, JS required) would be a huge upgrade.
