Some of you have likely noticed new default forums. The current list now includes some of the original forums that I created, the ones focused on technology, privacy, and alternative networks as well as some new user created forums that cover everything from anime, to drugs, to guns to memes you may complain about. This site practices the concept of free speech and the front page now more accurately depicts that.

If you would like to block any particular forum(s) from your view, read below the list for instructions on how to do so.

The full list of default forums that show on the front page:

If you would like to block a forum from your view, it's simple.

I get it. You're offended by some of the content. No worries, it's easy to block.

  1. In the sidebar of the offensive forum in question, click "HIDE THIS FORUM"
  2. A message will appear stating: "By marking forums as hidden, you won't see submissions from those forums when browsing the "featured" and "all" submission listings. You can still subscribe to and moderate forums you choose to hide."
  3. Click "HIDE"
  4. Live happily.

Blocking a user from your view is as simple:

  1. Click the username of the account you wish to block from your view, this will take you to their profile.
  2. Click, "Block User" from the sidebar. This will present you with a page reading, "Blocking a user hides their posts, prevents them from sending you private messages, and you won't receive notifications when they reply to you. Blocked users can still view your public posts."
  3. Block them.

Be good to one another.
