Combining Tor’s existing tools for handling DoS attacks with a Proof-of-Work (PoW) algorithm like those leveraged by cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Monero opens a unique avenue for mitigating DoS attacks without compromising privacy or severely hampering user experience.
