This is an update post to my post on Cinch News and my issue with it. I looked further into Cinch News and its holding company and tracked it back to a group called "Boston Antifa". I've even joined their discord server and they seem to believe that any self proclaimed "journalist" with a platform are always right and do not need proof or sources. You'd think its a giant joke made by children; which would be funny. But unfortunately its not. These are people in their late 20s to early 30s that strongly believe in this stuff. My experience on their server consisted of mainly censorship. I couldnt discuss anything without suffering a mute. On my previous post a user /u/onion talked about their lack of evidence for any of their ridiculous articles. And hes 100% right, not a single sight sourced from what ive seen. Now back to the Boston Antifa link, ive looked into this group and i cant say anything very positive about them. Anti facist in principle in my opinion is a good thing and if anything an ideology. But looking at what this group promotes it seems to be total destructive anarchy. They have videos of them raiding the streets and destroying property.

Bottom line this is a fake news group that promotes censorship, praises the ideology of the "right" and "wrong" opinion, and have ties to a violent Antifa group.

Wow, so it's not satire. Was it a Discord for Cinch news or Boston Antifa?

I found another insane article when I was looking for the Discord... they want "German" to be spelled "Germxn". I had no idea why at first but then I realized the word "man" is in "German" lol https://cinchnews.com/2021/02/07/german-to-become-germxn-in-the-battle-against-hate-speech/

It's hard to believe it's real, but I'm guessing it is. I tried to find the Discord but I couldn't find it. So you must have stumbled on some private Discord. It would be weird for them to be staying "in character" in their own private chat even to the point of blocking you. If they were right wing people making fun of the left, the chat would probably be full of right wing stuff. If it's a joke, they're impressively committed to it.

I know this is old, but I stumbled across this post after doing a little digging about cinch news. I came from the discord server. A bunch of the people who make stuff for cinch news network are in there, and they talk quite often. Me and a few other people have been trying to find out more about these people, as well as whether or not they're for real. Here's a link to the discord, for anyone who may want it. https://discord.gg/aYKH6sS9 They essentially seem to believe that journalists are some sort of new gender or something, and they've been saying stuff like "JLGBTQ". They also seem to believe that a journalist's opinion is right, just because they are a journalist. That sort of thing makes me think it's a joke, but after seeing how detailed the articles are on cinch news, i'm just not sure anymore. I just can't imagine anybody going this far for a joke, putting in this much work.

im in that server too. yea idk abt the joke thing. its so borderline like it could be really funny but also i wouldnt be suprised if it was real.
