I came from privacy subreddit. I was actually on a frontend of reddit, teddit. I really love the idea of this forum being able to be accessed through i2p, tor, yggdrasil as well. Can't wait to see rambler taking off.

But personally I will just simply comply because it is far more convenient and less time consuming than fighting the law enforcement over such a minor issue especially when you know that you have done nothing illegal. The purpose of me encrypting my data is to prevent it from falling into criminals' hand, not to give law enforcements a hard time when they are trying to strike my name off the suspect list.

I made a post on reddit in the corresponding subs for the networks this site is available on, such as /r/I2P, /r/yggdrasil and /r/onions, but didn't post to others. I also posted on zerotalk, a zeronet forum and on I2P's "Dancing Elephants" forum, which is just a technology forum on their network.

My account on reddit is pretty new so I didn't want to spam it.

I do of course welcome people sharing the site and hope that they explain why it's unique a bit too.

What specifically do you want to know? If you register with your @mail.i2p (for example) email address, will you receive emails at it from this server?

Emails are only used for PW resets but I do not believe it would work like that out of the box without some additional configuration.

That's a good idea. Right now we're less than 48 hours from the launch. Since we're running a stock open source platform behind the scenes I want to see how things go over the next month or so before I begin investing in major changes.

I agree that the mobile site isn't the best, and that an app may be a good way to use the site on mobile, but we're just not there yet.

Good idea. Someone suggested a discord chat but I've never really used discord. Though maybe an IRC server with the same principles of this site? Multi-network integrated with a few pre-determined channels?

Not yet. I honestly don't know much about discord, though I lurk IRC, mainly the I2P network one

Holy hell, good content. Thanks for sharing. A part of me wishes this was broken up into 50 different posts over time to make it easier to discuss but this looks like a one stop shop for all things conspiracy!

I like the idea however, at a glance, it appears no one registered with an email address (well not "no one", but very, very very few) since it's not a required option.

I did make /f/cryptography a front page / featured forum after another member made it and thought about making a "key exchange" or PGP Practice type forum to allow users to practice their encryption skills (which I need to do as well, since it's been mostly just that... practice). You're free to create something like that if you wish, I'll probably make ti a featured forum too.

I know that's not really what you asked but in short: There is no plans to implement that just yet. If this site continues to gain traction I will likely set up a development mirror (with fake populated data, not real user data) for community development of things like that so we can form this community into exactly what we want. But for now, it's been 36 hours and I've received a lot of feature requests that I can't make happen... yet. :)

Hmm, I bet if you post over at /f/i2p you may get some help about the I2P connectivity issue.

Truth be told I just run my I2P router on a VPS. I just forward my localhost ports 4444, 6668, 7657 and 7658 that VPS via a ssh tunnel. Then I just configure my browser as normal.
