this is great news. next step should be to get rid of the ATF. also fuck the ATF
It's definitely in my top 3 least liked federal agencies.
"So what should we do today guys? Issue a statement on vertical foregrips? What if we say shouldering a pistol brace may be unlawful? Shoot some dogs? Someone want to draw a manufacturer out of a hat and fuck with 'em for a bit?"

As long as the ATF are allowed to dictate law without congressional approval I wont consider this a win. The likely did this because they were worried that enough people would contact there congressmen or file law suits against them.

If anyone is familiar with the ATF and their ever changing interpretations of their own damn rules, you'll understand that this is a big win. They will, seemingly on a whim, pass conflicting statements on gun parts that they previously approved without issue, and sometimes (as seen) reverse those opinions and interpretations again, later.
At least we don't have to worry about getting in trouble for shouldering a pistol brace anymore. I remember having to hold it away from me or cheek weld it anytime the range had some fudds there.

I have a habit of removing the end of a url before sharing to remove junk, but didn't realize it was a story id and not ref?id=twitter
or something. I've updated it, should work now.

They say they found remains at the scene but don't know if it was a innocent victim or the person doing the bombing now.

After a quick review I'll say: It's alright. A bit buggy. But hey, it's new. Hopefully in time it'll work those issues out.
It's never a bad thing to have options so I'm glad to see it regardless.

San Fransisco: come for the weather but stay because you slipped in a pile of human shit on the sidewalk and fell on a used hypodermic needle.
Actually it's not that bad but yeah they definitely need to do something to help out all the junkies roaming around. I don't give a shit if you do drugs, I do drugs too. But that place is rife with addicts and mentally unstable homeless. Not surprising drug use is up when it's tolerated and life sucks in general.

It should be illegal to pad bills with dumb bullshit like this, and politicians who promote it should be fucking tar and feathered.

Reply to Ghost-Gun Company Raided by Federal Agents by Rambler
Text below copied from the /r/gunbuilds post on reddit :
It appears the ATF is doing to P80 what they did to Ares 6'ish years ago. This shouldn't affect builders that have already purchased parts but the seizure of records always means theres a possibility previous, current and prospective customers may be on lists now possessed by the ATF.
There is no federal requirement to serialize self manufactured firearms but if you feel obligated so serialize your personally built firearms for your own records or premption of state laws, ATF serial number requirements here or more specifically 2002 in section 27, part 478.92 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
Note that depth requirements are based on thickness from flat surfaces of metal. At a minimum, the Serial number itself should be engraved on a metal part insert (ie. glock) though it is often easier to make all identifying marks on a metal insert (ie. HKI)
