San Fransisco: come for the weather but stay because you slipped in a pile of human shit on the sidewalk and fell on a used hypodermic needle.
Actually it's not that bad but yeah they definitely need to do something to help out all the junkies roaming around. I don't give a shit if you do drugs, I do drugs too. But that place is rife with addicts and mentally unstable homeless. Not surprising drug use is up when it's tolerated and life sucks in general.

Reply to Congress Looks To Sneak In Unconstitutional Copyright Reform Bill Into 'Must Pass' Spending Bill by Rambler
It should be illegal to pad bills with dumb bullshit like this, and politicians who promote it should be fucking tar and feathered.

Reply to Walt Disney World will digitally add masks to guests not wearing them in ride photos: Report by Rambler
I can't sit down in a restaurant distanced from another table and eat but they get to ride fucking roller coasters? I love my wife but between the two of us we can only cook like 4 decent meals and they're getting old.

Reply to Ghost-Gun Company Raided by Federal Agents by Rambler
Text below copied from the /r/gunbuilds post on reddit :
It appears the ATF is doing to P80 what they did to Ares 6'ish years ago. This shouldn't affect builders that have already purchased parts but the seizure of records always means theres a possibility previous, current and prospective customers may be on lists now possessed by the ATF.
There is no federal requirement to serialize self manufactured firearms but if you feel obligated so serialize your personally built firearms for your own records or premption of state laws, ATF serial number requirements here or more specifically 2002 in section 27, part 478.92 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
Note that depth requirements are based on thickness from flat surfaces of metal. At a minimum, the Serial number itself should be engraved on a metal part insert (ie. glock) though it is often easier to make all identifying marks on a metal insert (ie. HKI)

Huh, I wonder if anyone consumed the mixture.

Too stupid, the USA's stance on drug consumption.

Next 5 to 10 years I think weed will finally be legal in the USA... At least I hope! Lucky to live in a legal state but live too close to a not-legal state. It's dumb. Just make it legal everywhere.

I forgot about them until I saw this post. I guess they're still most famous for the robot dog from 10-15 years ago. That thing used to creep me tf out.

This does not surprise me. I have a friend whose son had severe food allergies as a child and teen. He could not eat anything with dairy, and is still wildly allergic to nuts and shellfish. I remember the first Thanksgiving they had after he finally received a diagnosis was a challenge for her. She had to not only exclude everything from eggs to dairy to I think even certain grains, she had to buy expensive food to assure there was no cross contamination.
The biggest worry was keeping up his vaccinations, because egg is used as some sort of component with some vaccines. I don't know the exact details. I just remember her getting upset because some asshole political cartoonist made a comic where he basically said parents saying they don't want their kids vaccinated are the same parents who want special treatment if their kid has a food allergy.
I remember telling off the cartoonist on Twatter at the time. Didn't do any good except made me feel just slightly better.
But anyway, yeah, this doesn't surprise me. With any luck they will be able to develope the vaccine without having to mix it with any known food allergy culprits

I wouldn't want to be first in line anyway but I wonder how common it is for allergies to make a vaccine not safe for use?

Reply to comment by notaspook in More than a month after the election, YouTube decides to crack down on misinformation on results by Rambler
Are there any decent alternatives to YouTube? I think the only reason most people use it is because that is where the content is.
I've had some luck with BitChute, namely when I wanted to find some old Million Dollar Extreme episodes that had been scrubbed from YouTube.
Nowadays, it's not a bad idea to just save videos from YouTube directly ( https://github.com/ytdl-org/youtube-dl ) because people have entire playlists of removed content. I think it's hilarious (I mean, "not really") that YouTube removes so much content but not the link to it from people's subscriptions/playlists so they just have a bunch of gray boxes where thumbnails used to be.
One thing I'd LOVE to see is a quality peer to peer streaming network. Something where you can filter out the junk you DONT want to see and stream with no interuption the stuff you DO want to see. Items can't be removed once uploaded, perhaps tagged for end-user filtering so they don't have to see things they don't want to or can opt out of unknowingly hosting bits of that content.
