Discord says it did not ban the server for financial fraud — rather, it was banned because it continued to allow “hateful and discriminatory content after repeated warnings.” The Verge gained access to the server and can confirm the claim that users of the channel were spamming hateful language, including racial slurs.

But then again, why do people like Discord? It's bloated, not anonymous in anyway, and just has the worst interface I've ever witnessed of any chat or communication tool.

I use it because everyone uses it and the only privacy it gives you is meta data stripping which i appreciate but i try to limit my usage but it can be un avoidable when so many people use it.

Joined their group chat, though probably won't participate much. The Session account I'm using is for service support for another project and I haven't' figured out a good way to run multiple instances without needing a VM.
