One of the disturbing things to me about these facilities being built and staffed in America, is that if they start kidnapping dissidents because they were "near someone with the alphaomegamonster variant and tested positive", no other country would really stand up for us since the US is the world superpower. They might offer some mildly disapproving words or something. We're 100% on our own.
