"Radical user friendliness in web design" is my phrase for an approach that places the interests of the website user above all other considerations. Clearly, today's Internet does not operate this way, and that is why I am calling this idea "radical". Since much has already been written about the user unfriendliness that thoroughly permeates the Internet, I will not repeat it here. I feel radical user-friendliness should be a goal toward which many web designers should want to strive, but it is not necessarily one that many of them will reach.
