I would much rather have kiwifarms taken offline by private companies instead of by extra government regulation.
The thing is that the government can't constitutionally take any website off the Internet, because that would be a violation of the First Amendment. So, they seem to be coercing private companies into doing it for them.

I find that platforms police themselves quite selectively and in this case if the police and legal systems are not willing to take an action, I fail to understand how that becomes the problem of anyone else other than those who put those policemen/judges in place and pay them to do a job.
