I haven't found it all that fascinating. I find that platforms police themselves quite selectively and in this case if the police and legal systems are not willing to take an action, I fail to understand how that becomes the problem of anyone else other than those who put those policemen/judges in place and pay them to do a job.
The thing is that the government can't constitutionally take any website off the Internet, because that would be a violation of the First Amendment. So, they seem to be coercing private companies into doing it for them.
